Health & Wellbeing
CONNECT
Peer support for those living with dementia and their carers through a range of sessions and activities.
The newly launched CARER SUPPORT Programme will continue to develop in partnership with Carers themselves.

BE ACTIVE
The extensive range of physical activities available within the weekly programme for Dementia-friendly Alton as well as the sessions for carers and the wider community demonstrates a commitment to health and wellbeing for all.
In addition to in house activities, the Centre hosts sessions for Art-V-Motion Dance School, Phoebe Barrow (Pilates) and Kate Sadler of Hampshire dance Fitness (Zumba).

TAKE NOTICE of YOURSELF & SURROUNDINGS
Our Flourish in the Forest and Nurture Programmes celebrate an innovative partnership with ALICE HOLT FOREST that enables those living with dementia and their carers to immerse themslevs in the forest to fully appreciate what matters to them and to feel empowered by what they CAN DO.

KEEP LEARNING AND BE CREATIVE
With a wealth of creative and challenging activities and opportunities at Alton Assembly Rooms, our members and visitors alike can ‘fine tune’ and develop their skills and knowledge, whilst trying out new things in a supportive and nuturing enviroment.
In addition to weekly Arts and Craft group, partnership working with Alton Art Society, Alton Operatic & Dramatic Society, Alton Arts Festival, Creating Crafts & Blooms and work experience opportunities for Treloar College enables our members to be recognised as creative within their own community.
